The Smart Mechanical Convergence Engineering (SMCE) major in mechanical engineering at Kyungnam university is a new major launched in 2021. The purpose of SMCE is to educate top engineers of the future industry fields related to industry4.0 technologies and new smart manufacturing industries. We will provide an interdisciplinary curriculum, including mechanical engineering, electrical engineering computer science, ICT, and intelligent manufacturing engineering.

Besides, customized employment track programs for various companies and research laboratories will serve practical and outstanding experiences and internship opportunities during academic years.
